About every two years the Colour Group awards its Newton Medal to a distinguished worker in the field of colour science, on the occasion of his or her delivery of The Newton Lecture. This year, the Newton Medal will be awarded to Professor Ming Ronnier Luo in recognition of his outstanding contribution to colour research and technology.
